This is a lightweight ratchet buckle designed for 50mm wide webbing. It has a breaking strength of 2000kg and a lashing capacity of 1000daN. It features a wide handle for ease of use and has a two 7mm holes to allow the ratchet to be bolted to permanent structures. The entire ratchet buckle is made from carbon steel.
This ratchet conforms to the European Load Restraint Standard EN12195-2:2001 which requires the buckle to have a lashing capacity (LC) of 1000daN. This capacity is stamped on the ratchet together with the suppliers name GTF and part number RB5020WH for full traceability. The breaking strength (BS) of 2000kg is also shown to indicate the maximum load that can be applied to the buckle before failure.
