The RB2509 is a mini ratchet buckle designed for 25mm webbing. It has a 900kg breaking strength and a 450 daN lashing capacity. It is manufactured from carbon steel, with a pressed steel handle. This is a non-locking ratchet. This ratchet buckle is a standard ratchet used for restraining lorry straps in road transport.
The ratchet buckle meets the requirements of the European Load Restraint Legislation Standard EN12195-2:2001 which requires the buckle to have a lashing capacity (LC) of 450daN stamped on the ratchet together with the suppliers name GTF and part number RB2509 for full traceability. The breaking strength (BS) of 900kg is also shown to indicate the maximum load that can be applied to the buckle before failure.
