This ratchet buckle is designed for 25mm webbing and has a long narrow handle. The breaking strength is 2000kg and the lashing capacity is 1000daN. It’s made from carbon steel, with a one-piece wrap around handle. The base of the ratchet has two 6.5mm holes. This is a non-locking ratchet.
The ratchet meets the requirements of the European Load Restraint Legislation Standard EN12195-2:2001 which requires the buckle to have a lashing capacity (LC) of 1000daN stamped on the ratchet together with the suppliers name GTF and part number RB2520LNH for full traceability. The breaking strength (BS) of 2000kg is also shown to indicate the maximum load that can be applied to the buckle before failure.
